Waxing effectively removes large amounts of hair at a time and is longer-lasting than other methods of hair removal. Hair will take around two to eight weeks to grow back. Repeated waxing over long periods of time makes the hair finer in appearance upon regrowth leaving the skin feeling silky smooth for weeks to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fake tan contains a chemical called DHA, which reacts with the air and the amino acids in the top layer of the skin, causing it to gradually darken. Only the uppermost skin cells are affected.

Exfoliate the skin surface up to 24 hours before your treatment. Do not have any moisturiser or deodorant on the skin of any area you are having waxed.

Certain medications & products thin out the skin making it more likely for skin to be damaged following a wax. People who are taking antibiotics, Retin-A, using oral acne prescription medications, anti-aging products should avoid waxing, as these products may cause rapid exfoliation of the skin resulting in scabbing.

I cannot wax you if you fall under any of the following categories:

You are using any Retinol products on your bikini line or brow area.

You are using Accutane.

You have any kind of sunburn, laser burn, pustules or breakouts on the area to be waxed.

You are diabetic. However, we can wax you if you supply a doctor’s note saying it’s okay for you to wax.

It is strongly advised that a test patch should be done 24 hours before performing waxing.

There should be a gap of 24 to 48 hours after waxing is done before sunbathing or using tanning beds and spray tanning, as the skin is very sensitive immediately after waxing.

NO! That is what I am here for. If you do it yourself, you run the risk of over trimming which will reduce the results of your wax. Don't worry that it will be too long because too short is far worse. I will trim if necessary.

No! Shaving should now be a thing of the past. If you shave in between waxing, then you won’t experience the full benefits of waxing.

Hair removal is never painless as you are removing a hair from its follicle and if you have been a shaver/hair removal cream user your hair will be at its thickest for your first wax, however this will reduce with each waxing experience as the hair softens and thins. If you have had a stressful day, aren't feeling 100% or are close to your menstrual cycle then waxing can be a little more uncomfortable.

No, quite the opposite. Hair will become thinner and finer the more you wax the less will grow.
